Context:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Getty was unable to open the highly anticipated Mesopotamia exhibition, developed in collaboration with Musée du Louvre. Getty needed a rich, digital alternative—a compelling and immersive online experience—to ensure global audiences could still engage with the ancient artifacts and exhibition contents.

This presented visitors with many frustrations including outdated UX/UI, poor mobile responsiveness, and accessibility gaps.
